Cheese Egg

Possibly the quickest, easiest, and most heavenly cooked meal.


  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • slice of cheddar cheese


  • Heat oil and butter to just sizzling in a small pan.
  • crack egg into pan, scoop some of yolk for low-cholesterol option. Egg will flatten.
  • Balance cheese slice over egg, cover pan and heat over low flame for few minutes.
  • Turn off and let rest for another few minutes, covered. Serve over toast spread with chevre.
